Hey Y'all! We are Jim and Mary Bowers and we run Bowers Farm. Back in 2009, we decided to take a big leap, quit our day jobs and start a farm. Crazy, right? After a lot of searching, we ended up in the beautiful state of Tennessee. Love it! Having no experience whatsoever, we have learned from reading various publications and books, trial and error, and friendly, knowledgeable people helping us out. We are very grateful and a big thanks to them! Without them, we wouldn't be able to provide fresh, healthy meats, eggs and vegetables to our family, friends and neighbors.
Our goal is to provide an alternative to 'factory farm' meats, that is fresher, healthier, and, most of all, a lot tastier! In the uncertain times that lie ahead, we want to help support sustainable communities where people are working together to offer different things so that we all remain healthful and fit.
